Pray 10 Launch!

Pray 10

Pray 10 is a prayer strategy whereby everyone listed in the church directory is prayed for every week. Intercessors from within the church can sign up to pray and are given the names of 10 households in the church. For one quarter (12 weeks) these intercessors are to pray for the households as prayer requests are submitted via email or confidentially submitted on Sunday mornings. The households will not know whom is praying for them.

Confidentiality is important to us. Prayer requests will not be shared with anyone else.

Send Prayer Requests to:

I urge then, first of all, that requests, prayer, intercession, and thanksgiving be made for everyone . . .”
1 Timothy 2.1

Monday Prayer Meeting Re-launch

Karen Vineyard Church's Monday morning prayer group will start again on 4th May in a new format.

Timed from 8.30am to enable a wide range of people to join in - including those on their way to work in the Karen area - the prayer meeting will focus on issues of relevance to the church, to the Karen area, to Nairobi and Kenya, and the whole world.

The inaugural meeting will take place at the Zibarras's house. To find out more, contact the office.

There are many opportunities to engage in prayer at KVC.  If you have a specific need you can turn up at church on Sunday morning - we always have a team available to talk to you and pray with you at the end of the service. We also make time for community prayer during the service.

Emergency prayer needs can be handled by phone, SMS or email. Contact Dawn Seeger on 0721 555 885, or 0736 715 365, or at dwseeger@jambo.co.ke.

A prayer and worship group meets on Sundays from 6.30pm to 9pm in Karen, and you can come and join those who pray for the Sunday morning service from 10am.

A Constitution for the Vineyard in Kenya

Church Secretary Graham Silcock, who also serves as secretary to the Association of Vineyard Churches in Kenya, has been working on a draft constitution for the Association.

The legal registration of the church in Kenya requires that all the churches in the Association submit to the same Constitution and Bye-Laws, so Graham has been negotiating with the leaders of the Association, the Registrar and our advisory partners in the Vineyard in the US, South Africa, England and Scotland.
